A Component Integration is a .NET-based application which communicates with the XProtect VMS in some way, and provides the flexibility to interact with the XProtect VMS from your own application. The MIP SDK ships with a Visual Studio template as a starting place for developing component integrations.
In this tutorial you’ll learn how modify the MIPLibrary template to build and deploy a component integration that logs into the VMS with a configuration file.
