We've all heard stories of Detroit's stretched city services failing its residents, but we hear less about the residents who have stepped up to fill the gaps for their community. Meet Andy Didorosi, the 27-year-old founder of The Detroit Bus Company. Andy's colorful, graffiti-covered busses started by facilitating downtown barhopping, and now charter kids to school through the Youth Transit Alliance. The busses may look vintage on the outside, but run on green biofuels and utilize GPS tracking.
